The University of Internal Affairs has been implementing a cadet exchange program with the People’s Public Security University of China and the People’s Police Academy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the third consecutive year.
This year, five second-year cadets from the Police School are participating in the programs, studying a range of subjects, including language and culture, fundamental principles of criminal law, the prevention of human trafficking and cybercrime, transnational crime, international law enforcement and security cooperation, police tactics, and global security governance.
As part of the celebrations marking the 78th anniversary of the People’s Public Security University of China, a running competition was held on October 12, 2026. Cadet A. Itgel, a member of Class 323 at the Police School of the University of Internal Affairs, participated in the competition alongside 400 athletes from 10 countries, finishing in 27th place and receiving a certificate and a medal.
The exchange program plays an important role in enhancing cadets’ professional knowledge and skills, improving their foreign language proficiency and intercultural communication, deepening their understanding of international cooperation, and enabling them to learn from the training methods and operational experience of foreign law enforcement institutions.
