As part of the national “Billion Trees” campaign initiated by the President of Mongolia, 150 cadets from the University of Internal Affairs planted 500 trees on October 10, 2026, at the International Eco Park in Khujirbulan, Bayanzürkh District. The tree-planting activity was organized in collaboration with the Mongolian Military United Association under its “Evergreen Grove of Patriots” project. Notably, this is the second consecutive year that the University of Internal Affairs has organized this activity in cooperation with the association.
Tree planting plays an important role in mitigating the effects of global climate change, protecting and increasing forest and water resources, and maintaining ecological balance. Therefore, the academic community of the University of Internal Affairs calls on citizens, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations to actively participate in the national “Billion Trees” campaign, protect the natural environment, and make a meaningful contribution to planting and growing trees.
