The 30th anniversary reunion of the second graduating class of the Specialized Law Program, who graduated from the Police Academy in 1996, was held at the University of Internal Affairs on October 8, 2026. The event was attended by the Academy’s director at the time, academic staff, graduates, and representatives of their families.
Many graduates have devoted more than 30 years to maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of citizens. They have gone on to become senior officials in military and law enforcement organizations, scholars and researchers, and outstanding professionals across various fields. Their achievements are a source of great pride for their former teachers.
On this occasion, Vice President and Director of the Military Organization and Security Department, Police Colonel G.Buyankhishig, and their former class instructor, retired Police Colonel Sh.Narantuya delivered congratulatory remarks. During the ceremony, in accordance with the Order of the University President, graduates were awarded the "90th Anniversary Medal of the University of Internal Affairs," while the graduates presented commemorative tokens to the University and their esteemed faculty members. Furthermore, participants observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to late classmates who have passed away, and presented commemorative gifts to representatives of their families.
